Really enjoyed reading and taking in your beautiful images another week. I've always been reading your posts in the mail but it's way more enjoyable inside the Substack app and it's great to have them gathered in one place. Keep up your inspiring writing and photography Michela. All the best.
Hi Michael, it’s good to find you in here. I’m glad you’re enjoying the reading and yes, it’s good from my side that they remain accessible. I think you’ll find that you’ve opened a door to plenty of interesting reading; I know that I have.
Ohhh your images are giving me alll the festive feels. I love this style of posting by the days of the week too. Love these little bite sized insights to your week ❤️
Thanks Emily. I think I’d probably miss the frost more than the snow, it’s such a transformation. Though -12C maybe not! But even here, winters have changed. And in the last two years its noticeable how much more intense storms are.
😂 I worked out that my ideal temperature is a minimum of 20C when we lived abroad; below that meant cold fingers and toes. My husband used to say at the time that he missed cold frosty mornings, but strangely now has no recollection of that!
I love the power of these photos. I've started doing visual interviews here on Substack and it's really tuned me in to how images can speak so well in place of or alongside minimal words.
Thanks Kathryn, I’m glad that they resonate. I’ve not yet found the space for your interview but I am contemplating whether I could answer with images. I’ll probably let the idea brew over Christmas.
Beautiful writing and photography as always.
Thanks very much Sue.
Fabulous photos with so many beautiful patterns!
Thank you! It was a wonderful week. Today is just ugh! Definitely no light dancing on walls.
Oh I love this! So many gorgeous snippets of wisdom in here. x
Thanks so much Keeley. I have no idea where they came from 🤭
Your amazing brain & heart. Obviously. 😉🤍
😂 😇 💛
Inspiring, thank you for sharing your thoughts.....I always enjoy reading your words and seeing your images.
Thank you Jane, that’s great to hear and I appreciate your continued company

Thanks Josephine, glad you enjoyed reading. Yes, there are definitely some seasonal colours in there. And now it’s dark and wet and grey again 🫤
What lovely words and images Michela. Love the short break down of the days. ❄️
Thank you Jon, I appreciate that. I find breaking these down a good way to build content.
Beautiful Michela 🤍❄️🩵 jack frost only visits here lightly, we rarely get hard frosts and even more rarely snow. I miss it ❄️

wow! -12C that's pretty cold. My family would not be happy!! They complain when the temperature is in single positive figures.
