What BEAUTIFUL images and words. Worth lingering with. So happy that you were inspired by the concept of small stones. I found Sophie here because she mentioned me, and I have been very happy to have found her. And now I've found you too 😊

Thank you so much Satya ☺️ I’m flattered indeed. I love the way that we are able to connect here, and share the things that resonate and inspire us. Your writing has also inspired me to buy a journal (and ink to resurrect my fountain pen) with the ambition of writing ’Small Stones’ each day for what will be ‘The Sixtieth Year’ for me. It’s good to have your company here.

I love the Fluid Lines photo. There is so much to observe, with my eyes moving around with ore. PS: I love a red squirrel. Sadly there are none here in the Midlands.

Hi Nicki, and thank you again. We had a wonderful spell in January where the nights dropped to -14C (brr) and the ice grew magically. I wonder what the New Year will bring? And yes, I can’t quite believe that we have red squirrels visiting our peanut feeder. Which reminds me, I need to fill it again as the woodpeckers keep emptying it.

Some of your sentences/descriptions are like Polaroids. Even better in fact, they’re much more crisp and vivid! 🕊️

That makes me do a little happy dance - which is really useful as it’s windy, cold and trying to snow here! Brrr ❄️ Thanks so much for a lovely comment

I've started the book "The Artist's Way: A Course in Discovering and Recovering Your Creative Self" and really enjoying the tasks and writing that you do. Creating space for creativity and letting it flow.

That's good to hear Charlotte. The hardest thing is getting started, and then clearing the hurdle we set that tells us that we have to allocate a meaningful block of time. Sometimes half an hour will do. 'Kaizen' comes to mind - making small, continuous changes over time.
